WHAT EXACTLY IS SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY?

Spinal decompression therapy is performed right in our doctor’s office on an outpatient basis.

Dr. Lavell and his competent staff will give you specific instructions on how to prepare for the procedure and what to expect.

The typical process involves lying on a motorized table on your back. A special harness is attached to the table and wrapped around your lower torso.

The lower part of the table moves as the top part remains still, providing a gentle back and forth stretch.
